A new music program in Brussels for children ages 0-4 that will inspire you to sing, dance, and simply enjoy music. During our weekly 45-minute classes, both parents and children will be encouraged to jam, create new lyrics, and use child-friendly instruments.

Music for Kids AND Parents

At Tap & Clap we introduce children to the wondrous world of music. But it’s not just for kids – whether 9 weeks or 99 years, everyone is a participant!

At Tap & Clap, we love all good music. Here you and your child will be drumming, singing and moving to music from Brahms to Billie Eilish, from Louis Armstrong to Avicii.

No pressure, no homework – you will have fun at Tap & Clap! Those 45 minutes will fly by in no time, and you will always look forward to more classes and activities.

Teaching Music to Babies & Kids

For over ten years, I have been teaching music to families from all over the world. My teaching is informed by my 20 years of formal musical training and inspired by my 16 years of being a mother to three wonderful kids. As a certified Music Together teacher, I was lucky to be part of a successful Brussels music school, DingDong, where I worked from 2012 to 2020. In addition to my music credentials, I have worked for five years as a certified Montessori preschool teacher.

Music Classes for Different Ages

All classes are limited to no more than 10 children. Registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Our kids very much love singing, dancing and playing music with Margarita. Always with a big smile, she manages to channel the energy of the kids and to get all their attention and interest in an easy, sweet and emotional way. I recommend her classes for loud kids to learn to listen to music gently, for shy kids to learn to express themselves through music and for all parents, to simply enjoy a great moment of intimacy with their kids and good music 🙂

I love Margarita's Tap and Clap classes, they have been such a special one on one time with my daughter, where we can both enjoy music, dance and have fun together and I can really concentrate on her in a fun and musical environment. My daughter loves joining in and copying Margarita's actions and I can see how the music Margarita chooses really benefits learning too. Her songs teach numbers, concepts like fast and slow, loud and quiet, all the while being fun. I can't recommend Tap and Clap enough.
